On Tuesday 21st June Maple Cross headed across London in the boiling heat to hand the baton to the Aylesford team!
It started off with a bike ride form Alperton to Ally Pally before it got to hot!
Then it involved walking across the rest of London from Ally Pally all the way to the Houses of Parliament this was a 12 mile walk in 30 degree heat. Well done to our 11 walkers including Georgie from Alzheimers society. With a pit stop in Camden town to hand out balloons to the children.
It was then time to hand over the baton to the Aylesford team to start a 26 mile bike ride from st gabrils all the way to the Aylesford pit stopping at Hextable and Meopham school.
A few very sweaty runners also joined them on the way at Cuxton station to finished off the final 6 miles with the riders!
A very happy and bubbly Kieran and Kiera were there to meet both the runner and cyclist as they final made it to the Aylesford office!
