Hungry cyclists, a special guest and a sunny stroll

The cyclists from left to right: Richard, Paul, Kenny and David
The challenge carried on where we left off yesterday with our keen cyclists making their way down to the Newbury office. Whilst waiting for the cyclists the Newbury office enjoyed a delicious spread of nibbles with our special guest Lisa Congdon from our chosen charity Naomi House!

Of course the team ensured that there was plenty of food left over for our cyclists to enjoy on their return to the office. Cake is just the thing you need after working up an appetite on a 23.5 mile cycle!
The office was full of the challenge 2020 buzz with everyone discussing how well all our colleagues were doing on each leg of the challenge!

Our guest mingled and chatted away with the team before setting off on the walk from the Newbury office to the Thatcham train station for the last journey of the day.

All though grey skies loomed over our lunch the sun made an appearance just in time for the walk! The team began the journey walking through Newbury town centre stopping off the Naomi House charity shop. Before continuing through the town and down to the canal towpath enjoying the stunning Berkshire countryside scenery along their walk.

Our walkers ended the day with big smiles on their faces as they reached the final calling point of the day at Thatcham train station.

A huge well done to all the team who got involved in day one of the Newbury leg of Challenge 2020!

Lets see what day two has in store for us!
